AMD’s Llano based A8-3850 and A6-3650 APUs are some of the first consumer friendly processors to include a graphics chip that offers competent 3D performance making for an upgrade path for a great many people that won’t break their budgets. Their modest price tags get you a quad core processor which won’t be breaking any speed barriers but, for the enthusiasts, allow for some modest tweaking to newer clock heights while its integrated GPU can pump out a decent frame rate at modest resolutions with a few advanced graphics options enabled. Interestingly if you pair up a Radeon HD 6670 discrete graphics card to the A8-3850’s GPU in a CrossFire manner you can eek out a decent amount of performance from your low-price machine.
