AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB gets some punches in

Allowing the competition to sneak in without notice isn’t a good idea especially in a market as highly competitive as the video card market is…fortunately that means more choices and a price point competition that benefits us all. AMD has rolled out a more price conscious model of its Radeon HD 6950 line which simply reduces the amount of memory on board to match up with NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 560 Ti GPU. Less memory is usually a bad thing but with the bulk of gamers never going far above a 1080p resolution they can safely game on in the knowledge that they aren’t leaving much performance on the table and they managed to save themselves a bit of cash in the process.
