Efficiency is a tough thing to pull off in the video card world especially when you have to synchronize what two separate GPUs are doing… not to mention three of them. Which makes the news that the AMD Radeon HD 7970 scales extremely well when a pair of buddies show up in order to chew through all of your favorite benchmark programs and, thankfully, at least one recent game as evidenced by VR-Zone’s intrepid and painstaking look into such a setup. If you’re going to be spending a couple thousand dollars on a new computer then this just might be the best bang for your buck come upgrade time.
