ASUS EAH6870 hides a slightly juiced up GPU

Performance solutions that hide under reference cooler designs can be worrisome but considering how cool the AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics chip runs you don’t have much to worry about. The ASUS EAH6870/2DI2S/1GD5 doesn’t stand out in a sea of reference cooled graphics cards but it does boast a minor clock boost above the norm which will likely translate into a minor speed bump but its voltage modification capability will carry it to dizzying new heights all while still staying in comfortable temperature and power draw levels. It might be tough to choose from the mid-range gaming options available but, with enough fiddling, this should go a long ways in the performance department.
