Asus ENGTS450 DirectCU TOP gets a little closer to the core

Direct heatpipe contact has been a huge benefit to processors but hasn’t taken much of a foot hold in the graphics chip arena…perhaps this will change some things. The Asus ENGTS450 DirectCU TOP makes fine use of the technique which leads to some noticeably cooler temperatures compared to the competition which should come in quite handy when you start pushing to graphics card to new extremes. The card sports a revamped power regulation system that allows for fine tuning voltages so you can push those clock rates to even greater heights which is impressive given that their design is already clocked quite a bit above the reference design. A much improved cooling solution and speeds far above what you’d get out of a “normal” card all for a small price premium is what one would call a no brainer.
