Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe Soundcard wants to bring joy to your ears

As most motherboards have their built-in audio chips everything is fine and dandy in the realm of the normal computer user but audiophiles rage at such equipment and demand nothing but audio bliss pass through their ears.

For them there’s the Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe Soundcard that comes equipped with enough bells, whistles, and assorted doo-dads to make an audiophile happy. PC Perspective has the review:

Asus  has produced a very good card that should give those willing to shell out the money nearly every feature they could ask for.  From my understanding, Asus is working on some more advanced driver level features which should add some more value to the entire Xonar line.  This certainly is not a card for everyone, especially considering the overall impact on the user experience when compared to a DX11 video card costing near the same level as this sound card.

It’s a tough decision but if you’re considering this sort of audio card you probably have that DX11 card already nestled comfortably in its PCIe slot.
