ATI Announces Stream Computing

ATI has officially launched its Stream Computing technology. The platform relies on their current powerful GPUs to do computations normally done on CPUs and some specially designed add-on cards. A great product for some industries and, with newer GPUs just around the corner, it’s bound to get much more potent soon.
