ATI CrossFireX and NVIDIA SLI go head to head…again

ATI and NVIDIA have done a fine job of pushing the concept of multiple GPUs to the PC gaming enthusiast and have stepped up their efforts when it comes to providing higher quality drivers that allow for improved performance in such setups. Unfortunately the companies might not be quick enough on the uptake as the latest gaming titles seem to suffer from performance issues when titles are launched. They seemingly can’t catch a break as there are shorter and shorter windows between a game “going gold” and the titles appearing on digital content delivery platforms. Hopefully they can turn things around so that those of us that spend a considerable amount of our discretionary budget get the best possible experience on a gaming title’s launch day.
