Hexus.net has a snapshot of an ATI external graphics card test board. The product is designed for future systems which will allow the graphics card to operate outside of the system confines. It’s an interesting technology which could lead to more flexible cooling and power options for the graphics board and perhaps even some more output connections a purpose built design would be nice to see though.
