BitFenix Colossus enables your fastidious side

Gaming cases seem to be popping up with an alarming amount of frequency which offer up a pretty facade and a whole heck of a lot of massive fans to keep the airflow moving but aside from that they don’t really take into account the aesthetics of complete cable management.

The BitFenix Colussus is a new breed of case that employs a large number of features that’s sure to make it one of the more popular cases for the PC enthusiast. The E-ATX supporting chassis comes with two 230mm fans, situated at the front and top of the case, with optional mounting spots for 140mm or 120mm fans at the bottom and rear. Of course you’ll want to control the amount of noise those fans make when you aren’t gaming so they’ve built-in a fan controller to keep things nice and quiet.

Those that enjoy matching their PC’s lighting setup to the rest of their LED lit peripherals will be happy to note the case has a user selectable LED lighting system to help your keep your room’s almost radioactive glow in sync.

Interestingly enough the most impressive part of this chassis might just be the cable routing system which they went all out on. The tossed in 7 cable openings, with the appropriate flappy-rubber protection, that’ll allow you to hide the bulk of your cabling for that clean look that also helps air flow through the case while the storage bay/port control room hides USB 2, USB 3, headphone and microphone jacks as well as an e-SATA port and an extensive cable management system complete with cable channels running down the front of the case with outlets on the sides for just about the cleanest look possible.

If you’re wondering when you can get a hold of the BitFenix Colossus well you’re going to have to wait until the middle of September but the price is assuredly tempting at an MSRP of $169USD.
