Corsair H70 CPU liquid cooler unboxed, secrets spilled

The growth of pre-assembled CPU liquid coolers can be attributed to the fact that they’re no longer as sucky as they used to be and they are able to compete with the high end air-cooling heatsinks without all of the added bulk around the CPU socket. Of course it’s difficult to improve on a design when you’re constrained by fan mounts on most cases so Corsair decided to make their upcoming H70 liquid cooler quite a bit wider. Fifty millimeters is the thickness of the new design meaning quite a bit more surface area and they also include a pair of fans to get that airflow you just know you want. Coupled with other improvements this should be a potent package.
