D-Link, known widely for its networking gear, has launched the GamerLounge wireless router. Four Gigabit ethernet ports and 802.11g wireless LAN capability provide connectivity for your gear while a high powered CPU manages your packets efficiently (supposedly). Benchmarks with this router should prove interesting, although there’s the matter of constant firmware flux with promises from router vendors of increased performance and features that never materialize.
