Dell Inspiron 14z gets all sorts of classy

It’s difficult to pick out a winner in the mid-range notebook category when the majority of the options available all have the same specs. The Dell Inspiron 14z at least tries to distinguish itself from the rest of the pack with a partly aluminum body that should cut down a bit on the weight and introduces us to a recessed hinge that will save precious space should you decide to go mobile with the notebook. On the hardware front you have your choice of the typical mid-range mobile chips such as the Intel Core i5 2410M with its integrated HD 3000 graphics so you’ll get a solid performing machine but don’t expect miracles should gaming be your thing.
