Dell Streak impresses, packaging not so much

Dell has a…questionable track record when it comes to gadgets. Their PDA and MP3 player lineups were a bit of a let down when compared to the competition of the time but, thankfully, they seem to be turning a corner. The Dell Streak tablet is getting a good amount of attention in part because of its slim proportions and the widescreen approach to its design making it a more comfortable gadget to wield and can still provide cell phone functionality should the need arise. It might be a tough sell for the bulk of smartphone users with their sites on whichever brand they’re loyal to but it’s shaping up to be a darkhorse in those touchscreen imbued future.
