Dell Zino HD gets refreshed internals, fewer color choices

When you’ve got a form factor that simply works you’re not going to do much to endanger your little niche which is a good thing as Dell has improved its Zino HD guts, unfortunately color lovers are now limited to four color choices: black, silver, red, and blue brushed metal tops. There’s also a $39 charge for any color other than black so there’s that going against it.

Still it’s not all bad news. In fact there are some marked component improvements which make it an impressive home theater PC choice. The base configuration for the system sports an AMD Athlon II V140 processor with Radeon HD 4250 integrated graphics, 250GB of storage space, and Windows 7 Home Premium all for a MSRP of $299USD.

If you need a bit more power you can step up to the max configuration which sports an AMD Phenom II X4 P940 quad core processor, Blu-ray reader, 8GB of memory, and discrete ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card. An impressive amount of power in such a small machine.
