Boot Daily had a nice chat with Chris Donahue concerning Microsoft’s DirectX 10 APIs. The graphics portion has received quite a bit of work and includes all sorts of fancy technologies that allow for more realistic graphics, but it’s limited to Windows Vista and you’ll need a heck of a rig to run these future titles. All in the name of gaming progress!
