ECS Black Series A990FXM-A Motherboard brings in a weird batch of features

It’s hard to ignore a motherboard like the ECS Black Series A990FXM-A especially when it hits all of the right feature marks and it sports the AMD 990FX chipset which is their, current, top of the line model and will allow you to expand to the company’s future Bulldozer based CPUs. Sure you’ll find the three PCIe x16 slots and plenty of USB 3.0 and SATA 6G connectivity but its cooling system attempts something a little different with a color changing heatsink that shows how hot its main chips are running while its extra long 8pin power plug. It’s a competent performer, especially in the overclocking department, which is very impressive since the company is well known for its budget options and not performance models.
