The key to a computer’s longevity is picking up hardware that sports the most up to date feature set which usually means grabbing the top new chipset available for any given platform. Thankfully there was just one such release.

Foxconn’s A9DA-S Motherboard sports AMD’s latest and greatest 890GX chipset which will allow for the best possible performance in the company’s current, and future, processor lineups. TweakTown has the review:

Even with this market focus, the board performed amazingly well. It would be a great board for a HTPC or, when combined with a HD 5670, a fast and inexpensive gaming system that allows good performance at decent resolutions (including DX11 games) at what we hope will be an excellent price point.

A slick board which should be at home in just about any gaming or performance environment.
