Gigabyte Radeon HD5870 Super Over Clock Video Card solves your framerate shortcoming

You’ve been able to convince yourself that your current graphics card is good enough for quite a while but that piddly low resolution window your game is running in isn’t what a hardcore gamer would deal with now is it?

Gigabyte Radeon HD5870 Super Over Clock video card ramps up the clock speeds straight from the factory and sports a beefy heatsink to keep things running cool. Benchmark Reviews has a look:

Unlike other ATI partners, Gigabyte has redesigned their HD5870 SOC to use a custom printed circuit board (PCB) and thermal management system. The Gigabyte Radeon HD 5870 Super Over Clock video card measures 10.5″ long, which is 1/2-inch shorter than the reference ATI Radeon HD 5870, but identical to the 10.5″-long GeForce GTX-480 that it competes with. Gigabyte’s proprietary cooler reduces fan noise while keeping temperatures within tolerance and retaining a dual-slot profile.

A speedy option to be sure.
