Google’s Gmail email service set up a few beta user accounts with a terabyte of storage, 1000 times the touted 1GB they plan on offering. Perhaps it’s just a glitch or publicity stunt since there’s no way they’d currently be able to offer such storage to a large number of people, but it’s nice to ponder the possibilities.
