Longhorn: Chopped Up

Techworld writes of Microsoft’s plan to make their upcoming operating system, code-named Longhorn, more modular than their previous products. The only portions of the OS which will be loaded are the ones that are needed to perform a particular machine’s task. It sounds like a good plan which could lead to easy support/trouble shooting and even more price-point possibilities.
