Microsoft Extends XP Life Support

Yahoo! News informs us that Microsoft won’t be quick to cut off support for their XP operating system in the face of their Vista rollout. The company will extend their patching/maintenance of the OS until April 2009 for the Home and Media Center Edition(s) as well as the Professional portion of their lineup.
