More on ATI's Stream Computing

The Tech Report attended a press event for ATI’s Stream Computing platform and brings us all sorts of interesting news. They demonstrated a number of programs including the Folding@Home beta client and an art program Microsoft is working on. The product’s speed in applications (other than games) will be of great benefit to oil and gas companies as well.
