eWeek makes note of Microsoft’s release of its Windows XP: Service Pack 2: Release Candidate 2 software to beta testers. The software will roll all released patches since Service Pack 1 was launched in late 2002. It will also include a ton of security oriented features which many have stated are long overdue. Generally speaking RC2 is the last testing phase before MS launches software, that is if no major bugs are found.
