MSI X79 Big Bang XPower II heavy Sandy Bridge-E firepower

MSI’s X79 Big Bang XPower II takes some of the high end gamer hardware gimmicks to the extreme as evidenced by the heatsinks they loaded on to their top of the line motherboard but at least it can bring you everything you want out of a performance product. Your LGA 2011 build will be well served by its seven PCIe x16 slots, four of which are 3.0 spec while the other three run on the still useful 2.0 standard. There is, of course, the standard Intel X79 features loaded up on there like the quad channel memory controller but there are some nice added touches like side facing SATA ports that will make your cable routing endeavors much easier.
