NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 offers budget gamers more choices

NVIDIA’s initial Fermi chip launch, as seen in the GeForce GTX 480, had some “issues” when it came to heat output and power requirements but the company has had some great success when scaling down the massive chip to something more palatable for the mid-range and low-end gaming crowd. The NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 promises a good amount of power and a definite upgrade path for those using models from the company’s previous generation of graphics cards. It’s a slick little performer which should see a good bit of adoption given its impressive performance scaling in SLI configurations and it gives everyone running GTS 250 cards something to be happy about.
