The OpenGL Architecture Review Board has finished up the OpenGL 2.0 specs which lay the ground work for speedy and feature rich engines based around its rendering approach(es). It’ll be a while before new drivers supporting it appear and even longer for game engines but, I’m sure, developers are thrilled by this development.
