eWeek goes about comparing Microsoft’s ubiquitous office suite, Office 2003, with OpenOffice, an open source alternative. OpenOffice is of course free which could lead to many people and businesses switching over but Microsoft’s product has years of market dominance and a huge feature set that would make a transition anything but smooth for most.
