Palit GeForce GTX 550 Ti SLI redefines the mid-range performance concept

Multi-GPU setups are becoming quite a bit more palatable with the improvement of driver support and the possibility of combining two “inexpensive” mid-range cards two out perform a more expensive single high end card. The Palit GeForce GTX 550 Ti is clad in some seriously clashing colors but once it’s paired up with its sibling they team up for a potent performance option that rivals a more expensive NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 based graphics card and still fits into a reasonable power consumption level that most power supplies can handle comfortably. It’s not the high powered gaming platform most gamers dream of but it is more than powerful enough to handle the latest and greatest gaming titles with ease and it allows for that piece meal approach that the gamer on a budget has been known to use when it comes time to upgrade their rig.
