PowerColor Radeon 5550 Video Card does its duty on the down low

Normally you’d want as much graphics processing power as you can get your hands on but in some instances you need just enough for that low-power home theater computer you’ve had your eyes on.

PowerColor’s Radeon 5550 Video Card is capable of handling high definition content with ease while sipping on the power meter. PureOverclock has the review:

What’s interesting here is that this particular PowerColor card comes with 512MB of DDR3 memory instead of the 1GB of DDR2 that we saw in our recent review of the Sapphire 5550. There are some distinct differences between these competitors, not the least of which is gaming performance.

There’s a bit of power behind the GPU as well if you’re into some of the light gaming titles.
