Think Secret has some info on a new IBM PowerPC chip core, project name Antares, which will stuff a lot of transistors into a single chip. The chip is supposedly being created for usage in Apple machines, if true, the dual-core CPU, with each core having access to 1MB of its own cache, will make it one of the most powerful desktop processors available when it is launched.
