SIIG SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Hub spreads the wealth

USB 3.0 is capable of bringing a serious amount of speed to portable storage devices and just about any other gadget that needs a large amount of bandwidth to get things done. Unfortunately there is no system chipset that natively supports the standard so you’ll have to live with the meager number of ports tacked on to systems by add on chips which don’t feature support for many ports.

SIIG’s USB 3.0 hub extends a single port to handle up to four devices which would typically expand the number of USB 3.0 ports on a system by 100%. Thankfully it seems that the hub can pump a comfortable amount of power to the devices as well given its own dedicated power supply which is a great thing when you’re dealing with portable external drives.
