Thecus N4200 battery backup network attached storage NASYes your essential hardware should be set up to draw power from a handy uninterruptible power supply but those limited ports are usually taken up by gear with a higher priority to stay up. It seems the odd man out is learning some new tricks.

Thecus’s N4200 Network Attached Storage will handle all of your needs, well at least as far as four drive bays will take you at least, but its built-in battery backup will keep things going long enough to store data in transit. Tweak News has the review:

Transfer times were great across the board and even with multiple files being moved around at once, the N4200 didn’t choke a bit. I used a few different external hard drives  and USB flash drives and they all worked very well with the unit. The dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM make it a well-performing system and it handles multiple clients easily.

A peppy NAS for sure and a solid performer which is a must in any business environment.
