Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook Notebook is slim and speedy

Toshiba’s Portégé Z830 Ultrabook notebook has gone on a bit of a slimming regimen, or at least we’d be envious if it hadn’t, in order to squeeze into its sub 2.5 pound 0.63 inch frame. Yes it’s sharp and sleek but it manages to pack in a 13 inch display, LED back lit keyboard, and a 128GB Solid State Drive so you know it’ll be plenty capable when it comes time to fling files around in its incredibly thin frame. If you’re wondering about the sort of performance to expect well their press release isn’t too keen on exposing specifications stating that you’ll find a “latest 2nd Generation Intel Core processors” snuggly placed into its confines which we note doesn’t contain the letters i3, i5, or i7 so the odds it’ll be a barn-burner are looking less likely, not that you can expect miracles from an ultra portable. Still it’s hard to deny its incredible profile and shoulder saving feather weight. You can expect the Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook to start showing up in stores in November with prices starting under $1,000 MSRP.
