TRENDnet TEW-691GR attracts the WiFis and dust

Home routers come in all shapes and sizes which is somewhat annoying since I’d rather stack them and keep them out of the way so there’s no need for anything but a squared off box with some blinking lights. I guess this is for those that design their networks around their gear.

The TRENDnet TEW-691GR has most all of the fancy bells and whistles, including a piano black particle magnet of a finish, you’d want out of a modern router including Wireless N connectivity, up to a 450Mbps connection speed (who has ever hit those “ultra mode” speeds anyway?), Gigabit Ethernet ports, and an honest to goodness power switch so you don’t have to blindly search behind it for the good old power plug shuffle.
