XFX Radeon HD 5770 goes single slot for your space saving needs

Mid-range graphics cards benefit from the same features of the high-end models without having to drop a whole lot of money. Unfortunately they also inherit the same massive coolers that are installed on to their faster counterparts as well which can eat up valuable slots on a motherboard or simple make things difficult in cramped situations.

XFX is working on a new Radeon HD 5770 graphics card which uses a single slot heatsink which cools off ATI’s mid-range chip. Interestingly the company is pumping out two models: one with two DVI and a single mini-DisplayPort…ports and an EyeFinity model with five mini-DisplayPorts which might be a bit much for a 5770 to push but for desktop applications it should come in quite handy.
