Xigmatek Aegir SD128264 crams heatpipes wherever possible

Getting innovative with cooling gear gets a bit difficult when you have very little surface area to work with but someone is sure to find a way to increase heat transfer efficiency. The Xigmatek Aegir SD128264 comes equipped with four large heatpipes that make direct contact with your CPU for improved thermal transfer but they’ve also added two more heatpipes above those, into the aluminum supports that hold the others together, in the hopes of capturing excess heat and driving it quickly to the cooling fins. Judging by the cooler’s exceptional performance it just might have a positive effect…now if they’d only include a second fan.
