Larger case fans are a good way to introduce airflow without dealing with a serious increase in PC noise. Of course on the noise front there are quite a few methods to improve on noise output which should be considered.

The Zaward 140mm ZG2-140A Golf Fan GII uses a dimpled fan blades to cut down on the noise while maintaining good performance characteristics. DragonSteelMods has the review:

The Zaward ZG2-140A seems to be be a rather nice fan in terms of quality and performance. It’s quiet when running and it seems to provide a decent amount of airflow.

A straightforward set of reasons to consider it.
